Winners Of Off-leash Freedom (W.O.O.F.), has gained approval from the Santa Barbara County Parks Commission for an off-leash dog park at Waller Park. The park is being developed without leash restraint in a clean, healthy, and safe environment. The dog park will be situated on approximately three acres of unused open space in Waller Park, directly east and adjacent to the Hagerman Softball Complex.

The park will be surrounded by a four foot high vinyl-coated chain link fence. The entrances to the park will be double gated to ensure off-leash control of doggies. The park will be divided into two areas for small and large doggies. It will be open from dawn to dusk.

Proposed rules for the park incorporate health and safety measures. There are also controls to prevent the spread of infection or disease.
