Doggie Camp Description
The Doggie camp is our most successful program for dog training of any kind. We have a full time staff of several trainers that are at our 2.5 acre facility daily from 7am until 10pm. Doggie Camp started out from how we trained our service dogs for people with disabilities. People who were either too busy to do their own dog training or had a dog that no one else could train, kept coming to Doggie Do Good, Inc. to have us train the dog for them. We realized that our set-up for service dog training program was ideal for people who just did not have the time or had one of those extra tough dogs to train. As a result, we have a highly effective training program where dogs come to stay with us just as our service dogs do. We take our Doggie Camp doggies everywhere from the beaches, to dog parks, and even busy shopping centers. We also train them at quieter locations like our own large (75 yards x 45 yards) fenced in yard where doggie's learn off-leash commands safely.
Doggie Camp is fun but it is also advanced training for those doggies who are extra challenging or for the doggies that are looking to take their training to the next level. We work on all kinds of behavioral issues such various types of aggression, jumping, chewing, barking, and nipping to name a few. We train basic and advanced obedience which includes off-leash work and boundary training. Basic obedience commands include sit, down, stay, heel, and come. We can do specialty training such as boundary, nite nite (go to a bed and stay), and tricks. Doggie Camp is completely customizable to meet your needs. When preparing to bring your doggie to camp, we will ask you for your wish list of everything you want trained. When it’s time for your doggie to come home, we will spend as much time as is needed to show you everything they have learned, how we trained the behaviors, and how to keep all the training up and moving forward.
If you do a 21 day camp, ask us about our training guarantee that gives you free private lessons and free obedience classes for the rest of your doggie’s life. The pricing for camp is a flat rate of $100 per day. Please note that if he has any aggression (fear, dominance, or possession) toward any of the trainers or other dogs, we will charge a flat rate of $115 per day for your dog.
